How much end-consumers are pulling. Replenishment of material or finished good is pulled downstream based on actual consumption data. In consumer goods, replenishment is driven by Point-of-Sale (POS) data. In lean operations, the movement of goods from the supplying node to those who consume them is based on the real-time demand.
